So...it's been a fairly long time since I last made a proper contribution to this wiki. Part of this hiatus stems from a recurring lack of motivation to complete previous fanfiction ideas and start new ones. Another part is because life has been getting busy as a high school student.

In spite of this, a few new ideas have recently entered my mind that I'm quite fond of, and one of the biggest questions that come with trying to get these ideas out there is...how should I do it?

Apart from this wiki, there are very few ways out there in which I can share the Marvel/DC-related fanfiction ideas that I am truly proud of. From what I have found, most of the websites that exist are either completely dead or abandoned by practically every user. This, of course, results in me finding myself back on this wiki.

But a question keeps coming back to me that I have yet to find closure on, and that question is...Is it worth it?

Don't get me wrong, I love the creativity of every member of this wiki, and it's amazing how everyone around here is so helpful, open-minded, kind, and inspiring. The ideas you all come up with and the dedication you show to turning your imagination into full-fledged articles and stories are remarkable. I would never want to disregard the work you all put in. Nevertheless, it occurs to me that this wiki is, for lack of better words, pretty dead, with what seems like 20 or so users here at the most. It sucks that this is the closest thing we have to a proper fanfic site for ALL comics and nerd ideas, and yet there is barely anyone in the Comic Crossroads community. (Side Note: I am aware that there are a few sites that are exclusively Marvel or DC or Star Wars, etc. and that are quite popular, but they don't fit the bill for an all-inclusive creative site). I want to be able to share my ideas to more than a dozen people, and I'm sure some of you here must feel or have felt the same way at some point.

I love the feedback and support I have received here on this wiki in the past, and don't be surprised if you find me continuing to contribute to this spectacular site. Regardless, I would appreciate some guidance as to how I'm feeling about this and if there is a solution. I do not want to leave n any case, so please do not feel that I find you all beneath me (on the contrary, I look up to all of you, since you are my seniors in terms of fanfiction). Hopefully, I can integrate myself as a part of this community and both give and receive encouragement, so that we can all continue to let our imaginations run wild, no matter how many of us are there to see it.
