The United States of America, commonly known as the United States or simply the States is a federal nation which consists of 50 American states. Playing roles during both World War I and World War II, it is home to numerous superheroes, and saw major events regarding them such as the Justice League Civil War. Its current president is Matthew Ellis.

The first outside settlers of the United States were Spanish conquistadores, one of them being Juan Ponce de León, in the first territory they would arrive was Florida.
