The shemrys are a small species of spider-like insectoids native to Elaaden. They were the first animal life form discovered by the Andromeda Initiative upon landing on the planet.

Shemrys have six eyes, which gives them advanced eyesight. Although small in size, they can be quite destructible, as evidenced by their venom.
