History
Scott Summers is the oldest son of Major Chris Summers a test pilot and his wife Katherine Ann.
When Scott was 8 a scout ship from the alien Shi'ar shot down their father's plane while they were coming back from a vacation. Katherine pushed Scott and Alex out the plane door with the only available parachute. The parachute caught fire, so Scott used his mutant optic blasts for the first time to slow their descent. Scott would later be recruited as the leader of the X-Men. Under the teachings of Charles Xavier, he would fight for truth and justice.
Rise of the Spider
Most of the X-Men were too occupied with mutant matters to pay much attention to Spidey's supposed murder. While on Utopia, Scott witnessed a army of Sentinels attack the island. The unexpected attack killed many mutants, and left Cyclops scarred. Seeking revenge, he helped assemble WEB Resistance, and combined the Brotherhood and the X-Men to increase it's ranks.
10 Years later
Taking base in the Savage Land, Cyclops operated as a Resistance commander. He sent Wolverine to kill Spider-Man, but the mission failed and Wolverine was nearly killed. This caused Spider-Man to once again set his sights on the mutants. Cyclops was later captured during Operation Power Struggle and crucified by Spidey.
