- So what? Yeah, he killed the Prof, that's a big loss, of course. But we can't let that get in our way. We have to avenge him, prove that he trained us well and prove to the world that mutants are heroes. We've been X-Men in the past, but today, we have to be Avengers!
Bobby had a pretty normal childhood. He had an older brother named Ronny, who disliked Bobby because he was always happy. His parents loved this quality, as did everyone else Bobby knew. Nothing could get him down, and he didn't like it when other people were upset, or angry, or confused. He would always try to help the people in need, which is why he would volunteer at church and he would give food to to the poor and homeless. All of what he did, caused him and his brother to grow further apart.
When Bobby was sixteen he made a video of himself covering the song Can't Take It, originally sung by the All-American Rejects, his favorite band. The video became an instant success and Bobby was an internet star. He continued to make music videos of various popular songs, but he always had trouble when he attempted to write his own song. After Ronny's graduation, he tried to write a song about a loved one going away, but he still couldn't find the inspiration.
A few days later, Bobby discovered his mutant abilities. It happened when he was home alone and messing around. He attempted to cook himself an omelet. When he used too much pepper he sneezed, but an icicle flew out of his nose and shattered against the wall. He was completely freaked out and tried to see if he could do it again, but he soon discovered he could shoot ice from anywhere. He had found his inspiration. Bobby wrote his very first original song titled "Cold Heart", which was the most downloaded song in America for nearly two months. Bobby Drake had become famous, and he loved it.
