There are things you humans have never seen. Things you cannot understand. Things so powerful you couldn't even imagine fighting them. One of those happens to be my ex-boyfriend, commander of the Skrull army.

Lyja is a superalien Skrull and member of the Avengers.
History[]
Lyja was born on Skrullos to two very loving parents. Both of her parents served in the Skrull military. Lyja always appreciated her powers, especially the fact that she could appear as others and play tricks. That said, she rarely did so, as she got in big trouble when she did. But Lyja was always seen as smart, and had a promising childhood. But soon, Lyja's homeworld was attacked by one calling himself "Ares." He slaughtered her parents, along with what seemed like everyone else. It also seemed like he'd killed everyone but her, which also wasn't certain, as he tried to kill her also.
Soon, Ares fled, and Lyja was left alone on the desolate landscape. After some searching, she found that about 10 Skrulls has survived. They soon dedicated themselves to recreating the Skrull race. Many attempts to recreate the Skrull race failed, and created such races as the Kree and Shi'ar. But eventually, they were successful, and recreated the Skrull race. She and Kl'rt soon ruled the new empire as lovers and co-trainers of the Skrull military, who trained to avoid such a catastrophe from ever occurring again. She herself was enhanced with energy abilities to further this pursuit.
But soon, Lyja tired of the dominion of the Skrull empire. Longing for some new lands to join the Skrull empire, she set her sights on Earth as the newest addition. After venturing there, she found Earth life was better than Skrull life in many ways. She took a new form to blend in with the Earth folks. When Kl'rt came to Earth, she allied herself with the Avengers to prevent the invasion, and was soon inducted into their group.
Powers and Abilities[]

Powers:
Shapeshifting: As a Skrull, Laserfist can cause her body's molecules to change their DNA, shapeshifting into a new person. She can also assume minor differences, like clawed hands.
Concussive Beams/Flight: Laserfist can project concussive beams from her hands. She can aim these at the ground in order to fly.
Size Altering: Skrulls can alter their size to grow or shrink.
Elasticity: Laserfist, like all Skrulls, can form shapes with her body.
Abilities:
Expert Combatant: Laserfist has trained extensively in unarmed combat through the Skrulls and was a commander in the Skrull military.
