Polaris is a mutant on Earth-8092. She is the Princess of Genosha and technically a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants, despite hardly ever fighting alongside them, due to her father's overprotective nature.

- Despite being a member of the Brotherhood of Mutants she doesn't share their ideals and never fights alongside them.
- Due to being much younger, her powers are not as developed as Magneto's, therefor she can not manipulate it on the same molecular level as he can.
- She enjoys tending to her garden on Genosha when there is nothing else to do.
- She has a crush on the X-Man Havok.
- Lorna Lehnsherr is the second mutant to ever serve as the Horseman of Pestilence. The first was an ancient mutant with the ability to spread illness with a touch who helped in killing Apocalypse the first time.
