History[]
Jotunheim[]
Loki was born and raised by his father, Laufey, on Jotunheim, Realm of the Frost Giants. Due to his father's past actions, Loki had a glowing hatred for both Asgardians and Mortals alike, which is what caused Laufey to favor him over his other children. As Loki grew older, he knew that one day Laufey would die and he would become King of the Frost Giants.
Taking Control[]
When Loki was the mortal equivalent to 21 years old, Laufey was murdered by the Asgardian thunder god, Thor. Loki did not waste time moping. He took control and assembled an army of bloodthirsty, angry Frost Giants. It took Loki nearly seven years to formulate his attack plan, not just a head-on attack, but a stealth attack from the inside of Thor's castle. Loki knew it would be tough, but he knew it would work.
Attack on Asgard[]
After he had finally gotten everything perfect, Loki was able to able a small portal from within Thor's trophy room, which is where he houses the Destroyer Armor. He sent in a small squadron of Frost Giants to sneak around the castle, and set up portals and key positions for Loki and his troops to enter the castle. When it was time, they charged into the heart of Asgards, and the gods didn't even know what was coming. The Frost Giants managed to kill hundreds, maybe even thousands, of the Asgardian forces. However, when it came to Loki and Thor, they were only focused on finding and killing the other. But at the last minute, Thor changed tactics. Unbeknownst why to Loki, Thor opens a portal of his own and exits Asgard, destroying any way for the Frost Giants to leave.
