- What's my best strength? I'd have to say nothing surprises me. I witnessed the first appearance of Iron Man, the heart of the Skrull invasion, and I've been kidnapped and nearly killed by Loki. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
- Jessica Drew
Jessica had a pretty normal childhood. Her family was pretty crazy, as she had four younger brothers, an older brother, and an older sister. Her parents were extremely stressed out most of the time, and she took responsibility as the good child to make their lives easier. Each of them secretly favored Jessica over the other children, but they would never admit it. She eventually took charge of her family and began making her siblings behave, and she enjoyed giving people orders, she liked being the boss.
Struggles and Successes
In High School, Jessica used her take charge attitude to run for Class President, and she got most of the school in her favor. But her competition, George Tarleton, was not to be underestimated. Although he was very unpopular, he knew how to persuade the people. He also never gave up. He got his people to due some dirt digging on Jessica, and they discovered her ultimate secret. During the next debate George revealed to the whole school that Jessica is a lesbian. She thought that her chances would be over, but it turns out this made her chances even higher. It wasn't long until she was elected, and George became even more of an outcast than he already was.
When Jessica attended college, she was roommates with a girl named Carol Danvers, who she was attracted to. But she managed to keep herself under control, not wanting to jeopardize their friendship. However, they eventually were eventually each cast in the school play as a couple of girlfriends, each minor roles, but Jessica loved it. After the play was over, the two of them kissed and had a one night stand, but much to Jessica's dismay, nothing became of it.
