Proving one's worthiness is much like art, or let's say pornography. It's difficult to define, but you know it when you see it. 
- - Goodness
Goodness is one of Darkseid's finest and most devout warriors, as well as one of the leaders of the Black Order alongside Steppenwolf. A strong and malevolent woman, Goodness is the product of Apokolips' sociopolitical mentality of Darkseid above all else.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Goodness was born in some of the poorest castes at Apokolips, known as the "Lowlies", and as such, she was a peasant. After being sold by her family, Goodness was trained to serve as one of Darkseid's hounds. She trained a creature to serve as her companion, and the two bounded. However, upon being ordered to kill her pet by her superiors to demonstrate complete loyalty only for Darkseid, she murdered them.
She was sentenced to death and to a meeting with Darskeid himself. However, instead of killing Goodness, he coldly ordered her to kill her pet, which she did after a brutal duel. Impressed by Goodness' will to survive, even if it meant taking her friend's life, he promoted her to one of his personal lieutenants, and the co-leader of the Black Order alongside his uncle, Steppenwolf. Together they took orphans from Apokolips' streets to join the Order, among them, Nebula, who became a sort of surrogate daughter to Goodness.
