- It's all about Truth. Justice. And the American Way. Clearly, you don't see that, and I won't stop until I bring you down.
- Father of Freedom
In the year of 3048, a group of four heroes, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and Theodore Roosevelt, lead an army against the threat known as Galathanpocalypse the Conqueror. Washington has the idea to go back in time thousands of years and alter history to prevent this future from happening. Everyone is in favor of his plan and they send certain heroes that would become historical figures to specific places in time.
George Washington goes back in time in order to ensure his place as the very first president of the United States. He remains loyal to the oath and never once spoke of the future. At some point in time, never recorded in any sense, George had an encounter with the almost deceased body of the mutant Apocalypse. He quickly dug up the body and chopped its head off just to be sure, but he knew from personal experience that it would not work.
After George Washington's "death" he secretly went careening through time, expecting to meet up with Lincoln, but there was a malfunction and George was sent to the year 2013, the year that Thanos acquired all six Infinity Gems. He quickly made himself known and confirmed that he was the real George Washington. He was taken to the White House where he met the current President, Erik Magnus. George was against what he was doing to America, so he stormed out of the White House and formed his own army of heroes that would take back America and turn it back into the way it was.
At first, George formed a small squadron of fifty soldiers, willing to follow their founding father. No one dared to go up against them, worrying that if they arrested their first president, they would be betraying their country. George and the Patriots fought many bad guys, proving their loyalty to America and George even convinced seventeen states to side with him against President Magnus. When he led them in the Revolt, the Avengers and the Ultimates set aside their feud and teamed up to save the White House and the rest of America from George. He nearly won the battle, but when the heroes managed to defeat most of his forces, President Magnus had George arrested and placed in the Raft.
