History[]

Losing his Arm[]

When Curt was in college, he was diagnosed with a rare disease called the "Tile Parasite", which eats away at his flesh and bone, and it would soon enough kill him, but there was nothing to doctors could do. After finding this out, Curt worked endlessly to find a way to save his own life. He was eventually only successful in suspending the disease in his arm, which later caused it to dissolve, and he then became determined to grow it back.

Oscorp[]

After graduating college, Curt applied for a job as head scientist at Oscorp, as it was currently lacking one. It's CEO, Norman Osborn definitely believed Curt was qualified, so he got the job. He grew to enjoy his position and he began studying reptiles to see if he could access their unique gene that allows limb regeneration, but his struggles have not yet come to an end.

Richard Parker[]

When one of Oscorp's best scientists, Joseph Brock, moved away from New York, his former partner, Richard Parker, who may even be smarter than Curt, was assigned as Curt's new partner. The two of them became good friends, and Curt showed Richard his plans for limb regeneration, but Richard had even bigger ideas for the project. He dreamed of finding a way to utilize any animals unique abilities, which Curt at first thought was going to far, but he later warmed up to the idea and viewed it as the most genius thing he had ever heard.
