After graduating from college, Don began taking drugs after being pushed into it by his friends. He began hallucinating and believing strange things. However, he managed to secure a job at S.H.I.E.L.D, as a scientist. He developed an armour with electric-manipulating abilities. However, the drugs got to his mind, and caused him to start believing he was Thor, the inspiration behind the armour.
