Dexter "Dex" Jettster was an adventurous Besalisk chef who owned Dex's Diner, a cantina in Coruscant, where he served the planet's hard workers with home-style meals and drinks. An old acquaintance and friend of Obi-Wan Kenobi, he employed two waitresses - Hermione Bagwa and her droid partner, FLO.
Biography[]
Before the outbreak of the Separatist Crisis and the Clone Wars, Dex lived many adventures in many planets and systems, including a prospecting job at Subterrel. His cantina, Dex's Diner, which he inherited from his father, welcomed people from every corner of the galaxy who appreciated good jawa juices. However, many criminals stole nearby his cantina, prompting Dex to enlist the help of Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi. After stopping the thief, known as Tri Tellon, the duo became friends.
Days before the Clone Wars started, Jettster was approached by Kenobi, who asked him about a poison dart, to which the barman was able to identify as coming from Kamino. After having a drink together, Kenobi left.
