Alex Rogers

Alex Rogers is the son of Captain America and co-founder of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Alex was conceived in World War 2, by Captain America and Peggy Carter. He was a secret, and Peggy never told Cap.

Growing Up

As a child, Peggy told him stories of his father's adventures with the Howling Commandos. He was inspired by them, and wanted to be just like his father. He did however inherit some of his strength and agility, which later served to his advantage.

Nick Fury

After his mother died, Alex was taken in by the spy Nick Fury. He and Alex got along great and went on many adventures together. Nick wouldn't stop training until Alex could beat him in a fight, which he finally did after six years. At some point, Alex was injected with a serum that slowed his aging process, making him stay the same age for years in a row, but it eventually wore off.

Eventually, Nick and Alex developed a secret agency called Shield. Eventually Nick found a way to turn it into a complicated acronym. Alex wasn't a huge fan of it, since it was called Shield to honor his father. Though he learned to live with it. He eventually met a woman who was the hostage of a terrorist. Her name was Dana Alvers. They fell in love and were quickly married.

Alex and Dana settled down, but he decided to find the cure for his father's disease. It wasn't until his son discovered the cure that Captain America was resurrected. When he was reduced to an old man, Alex offered for him to stay with them, but he decided to live in a trailer park instead, which befuddled Alex.

During the Celestial War, Alex joined S.H.I.E.L.D. once again in order to help, but he didn't do much. He was attempting to save a crowd of people from the Celestials when they blasted the ocean. The backlash flooded into North America, drowning him along with thousands of others.
