- After living a life like mine, not many things surprise you, but the things that would most people, greatly intrigue me. So I am here today to tell you, the people of America, that no longer are the Avengers your only so-called "heroes". I am here to announce to you the Killian Enterprises New Avengers!
- Aldrich Killian
Aldrich was formerly a head scientist at Stark Industries. He was closest thing to Tony Stark, and he believed he was fit to run the company. When he approached Tony about becoming the CEO, but he was only met with Tony's chuckles and the fact that he was nowhere near on the level of Tony, and that no one is. This made Aldrich even angrier, but he planned on staying in order to wait for the perfect opportunity.
The Little Girl with Mental Powers
Eventually, Aldrich decided to take a leave of absence from Stark Industries too visit his old friend, Winston Frost, who had recently had a young daughter named Emma, who Aldrich was delighted to meet. However, when he arrived at their mansion, he discovered Winston and his wife on the floor, each of them twitching, with Emma sitting by their bodies, crying. It didn't take long for Aldrich to realize Emma was a mutant, so he called the newly opened prison, Genosha, and guards quickly arrived to take Emma. However, Aldrich decided she could be useful in the future, so he went with Emma, telling her that everything is going to be okay, and that she was going to a safe place. After she was gone, he decided he would visit her from time to time in order to manipulate her judgement in his favor, and maybe one day use her against Tony.
Death of the Defenders
When the Frost Giant king, Loki Laufeyson, came to Earth, Aldrich first believed everyone was going to die. However, when the Defenders intervened, he discovered that Iron Man might lose his life, which would be very good for business. Aldrich proceeded to venture further into the battlefield to see if Iron Man had been murdered yet, and after hours of searching, he eventually found the dead body of his former boss. For one of the first times in his life, he felt truly happy. He stole Iron Man's helmet for his trophy room, but he claimed that Tony would have wanted him to have it.
- Aldrich Killian's upcoming appearance in Iron Man 3 inspired his addition into Earth-1, but he will serve a similar role to the same one Norman Osborn did in Earth-616.
